Shiny black cooktop

I really like my new range. The multi-ring burners are very handy. Used the oven at Thanksgiving and loved it. I even ordered another oven rack to give me additional space. My only two concerns are that I can't lock the burners from accidently being turned on and the burner surface is difficult to keep clean. It's really beautiful and shiny when I can get it just right. It is still a great range so far.

All in all I love it. The cooktop stays looking much cleaner than my previous Frigidaire. It preheats quickly and bakes great. My recipes are usually done about a few minutes faster. The oven is roomy. I like the warming burner. I also like that you can adjust the size of 2 burners. The burners heat up quickly and cook evenly I have not yet steam cleaned the oven. I have, however, accidentally turned the burners on by leaning against it wiping the back. The touch buttons take quite a touch some times. So far, so good

This stove replaced a 12 year old similar, same brand stove. It fits in the same spot. I really wanted white, my kitchen is on the north side of the house so doesn't get a whole lot of daylight in the winter. Adjusting to the black cooktop, and so far, it's okay. I like the multi size burners, and especially the true temp for simmering. I absolutely love the size of the oven and that there is no element on the bottom. Makes it so easy to wipe out! Baking multi items is easy and oven temp at this point is true to the chosen setting. Like the old stove, I miss the clock display when the oven is on, wish it could show both the oven temp setting and the current time. I do miss the larger warming/storage drawer under the oven but I'll adjust!

Stove and oven work well. Heats up fast and cools down relatively fast. Oven retains heat well.BUT, neither the appliance NOR the user manual tell how to use the Warming Zone option.Appliance says " Warm Zone 2X on"User Manual says " Press the Warm Zone button on the control panel"Appliance implies a double press (i.e. t times) Manual implies a single press.It is necessary to PRESS AND HOLD the button for approx. 2 seconds to "arm" the feature followed by a single press to actually activate it. Tech support didn't know this. I had to experiment to find it.

Purchased for a home we were rehabbing so we didn™€™t actually test it out other than making sure the burners and oven worked when we received it. One year and 4 months and zero uses later, I noticed the oven light did not come on. Purchased a new bulb which didn™€™t work either. There is no power to the bulb socket. Before calling the repair man I also tested out the ™€œwarming burner™€. When I turned that on it went click click and smoke came out the back vent. That burner does not work either. I have essentially a brand new oven out of warranty that does not work as it should. Do not buy this oven. The repair man said it was not worth the cost of repair so I™€™ll order the two parts that it could be and have my husband replace them. Frigidaire repair service wanted $350 to come out and fix it.

We chose Frigidaire because of the price. It was the cheapest one price-wise, but this range is quality is anything except cheap. It looks beautiful in my kitchen. I havecustom countertops, and so I had to make sure that we got the right size and this stove fit perfectly. I love it. It is easy to clean. The steam cleaning feature is amazing. The oven heats up quickly. It's easy tochange the settings. The only thing I would change is the volume on the timer. The timer alarm is very quiet, and there is no way to turn it up. Even with that one flaw, I still give it 5 stars. I definitely recommend getting Frigidaire appliances, it really is better quality appliances with prices I can afford.
