This is my second GE open washer i abosolutly love it . My first one was a GE Profile loved it do not have nothimg bad to say about either one of them. Great performamce get your cloths super clean . Just make sure ro plug i to a surge protector.i only had my other one few years it had been thru my lights flickering going out. Ext.but the last thunserstorm and lighting fried my contol panle on the waaher so i just bought another one .this time its hook to a protector

I had a GE profile washer and dryer for over 15 years. This new washer is so much more cheaply made. It has so much that is not as good or strong as the other one I had. I know it won™™t last 15 years. I got one delivered and it wouldn™™t work at all. They delivered another 2 days later and it does work but just not what I expected.

Service came out with two new lids and one of those was broke. New lid installed and it broke again. Definitely not worth the money and will never by GE product again!

NEVER buy this product. It will never work. GE will make you essentially replace every part which took months. Then they replaced the unit only to have the new unit fail. We are six weeks in to this repair and have not been able to get the unit running. They will schedule a technician only not come out. We have purchased GE in five different homes and this has been a complete disaster. NEVER WILL PURCHASE FROM GE AGAIN!!!!! YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER.

Had this washer only 2 years. Already replaced the main control board and that did not fix the problem. I am unable to put it in the mode where the washer gives a code because the buttons are not responding. It say leaked detected but with all the lights lit up I have no idea if it is a true code.

The agitator is very short and the water does not cover the clothes entirely which makes it seem like items on the top are not getting any friction to get clean. It's also on the loud side. Not unbearable but for a new machine and newer technology I would expect it to be a little quieter. On the bright side, it' large and has multiple wash options.

This washing machine sucks. Performance is terrible. It cancels loads midway through the wash cycle, no matter how garments or items are put in it, everything ends up tangled and on one side. So then you™™re stuck pulling heavy, soaking wet clothing out of it just to rearrange them you can restart the cycle. Sometimes 3 or more times! It™™s Wasting more time, energy and money. Not to mention it is so loud. There are so many things wrong with this washing machine. I cannot believe this washing machine is even on the market. By far the worst purchase I™™ve ever made. It™™s not efficient, technology is terrible and it has never functioned properly. Would not recommend. Do yourself a favor and go with something else.

I do not recommend impeller washers. I purchased my GE PTW600BPR1DG in March 2025. I have purchased almost all GE appliances since my first refrigerator in 1997. Never a problem until this. The idea of having all the benefits of a front loader with a top loader seems like a great idea. It isn™™t. In order to really clean clothes, they must turn over. The impeller sloshes them side to side. It is constantly unbalanced. There is a ™tangle control™ button that helps a little. I understand you must place clothes around the drum as if it had an agitator. Doesn™™t help clean them. Very disappointed.

I purchased this washer along with the matching dryer after my old GE stackable front-load machines finally gave out after 12 years. I was hesitant about going back to a top-load washer after being so used to a front-load model, but after doing extensive research and choosing this set, I can confidently say it was the right decision. I™™ve had the washer for about three weeks now, and I couldn™™t be happier. It performs flawlessly, looks fantastic, and has every feature I was looking for. The capacity is outstanding ™" I washed a comforter recently and was amazed at how much room there was. No more cramming bulky items in like I had to with my old machine. The dispenser is very easy to use and fill, and I especially appreciate the separate bleach compartment. I also closely monitor my home™™s electricity usage, and this washer is impressively efficient. It uses no more energy than my previous machine and may even be slightly more efficient. One of my favorite features is the technology. The app connectivity is incredibly convenient ™" I can monitor cycles remotely and get notified as soon as a load is finished, which is especially helpful since my washer and dryer are not inside my home, but rather on my back lanai. It makes laundry so much easier to manage. Overall, this washer has exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a new washer ™" truly a 5-star purchase!

Huge MISTAKE 2/6/2026

Purchased w/d combo in 12/2022. In 11/2023 the basket had to be replaced. The time of purchase until 2/2026 the washer has been an issue; rocking no matter the size of the load to the point of having to interrupt the cycle, rearranging items in the tub and re-starting the cycle in hopes that it would not be necessary to stop and reposition items again. The deep fill isn™™t always sufficient with loads as well. Technicians have constantly said the noise if the basket when spinning and the rocking is normal for this type of machine; they™™ve also suggested pouring additional water into the machine when the deep fill isn™™t a sufficient amount of water. I would NOT RECOMMEND. The mat hinges dryer has been a problem as well, not drying completely and noisy. I purchased an extended warranty with Best Buy when I purchased the set and beginning in 3/2025 I reported the noise in the dryer. Bodewell tech came out on 3/20/25 for both washer and dryer™¦not dryer, noise and washer spinning metal to metal sound, rocking,etc. Tech took off front panel if dryer and cleaned some lint out and said the noise was from small pieces of lint becoming hard and causing the noise. I took him at his word. Fast forward to 12/25, I reported the same issues regarding the washer & dryer due to the impending extended warranty expiration. Geek Squad was assigned to come out 1/7/26, the tech found nothing wrong with the washer and indicated the dryer noise was due to needing front and rear bearings replaced. On 1/20/26 two GS techs came out to replace the bearings and found the drum and heating element had profuse amount of rust and need to be replaced as well. I contacted BB CS and asked that the dryer be replaced in light of any work done would only be warranted for 90 days; BB refused to do so. The drum and heating element was replaced on 1/29/26 and two days later the noise reappeared; once the drum was replaced, when you open the door there is a ™halo™ effect inside the drum. On 2/5/26 a GS supervisor came out and I shared a recording with him of the noise, on the same night, the noise started again. The supervisor said the halo effect was because it was new and normal™¦.. I purchased new and never had a ™halo effect™ in the dryer drum. One excuse after another, one explanation after another™¦. DO NOT BUY THIS SET

This machine is so loud we can™™t talk over the noise! Plus the start button is the same as the pause so it™™s hard to start. The water level is so low it™™s hard to believe anything gets clean but the option for deep water is way too deep. To increase the spin for heavy items doesn™™t increase the speed just the time. The overall design of this machine is just not good probably the worst washing machine I have ever owned.

I have never been so upset with a washing machine. Bought it in September. The noise level is absolutely ridiculous. It has been serviced three times so far and now I need a 4th service appointment after the technician just left a few hours ago. We have been without a washing machine for about a 10 days. It's almost impossible to get a service appointment anytime soon. I can't believe they came and fixed it a few hours ago and it already died. Called the service department and the soonest they can come back is on 1/20/2026. Really? We purchased it from Home Depot. I talked with one of the managers and finally got some respect and understanding. We are planning on filling the lemon law at this point. This is just unbelievable.

The machine is very loud and sounds as though the gears are grinding. During the spin cycle, it frequently shifts from its original position. I have also had difficulty removing the Flex Dispense unit. I gave it three stars because it does have a large capacity and it does do a fairly good job with washing clothes. The appliance itself is very nice looking but if I could do over, I would purchase a different machine.

Dishwasher is beautiful and as far as noise capacity and controls, they get an A+ however, even when I use the deep Phil feature they™™re Harley seems to be enough water that barely covers the clothes, sometimes not even covering them all the way. I™™ve tried different settings and I still can™™t seem to get it right so for that I have to give an F!
